#7 The Great War for Empire - French and Indian war (1754 - 1763)


It was basically a fission of the territory among the strongest countries such as France, Britain and Spain. The colonial Albany in 1754 also got interfered into the conflict as they tried to consolidate their position through the Albany Plan of Union. This conflict gave Albany the advantage of adjusting contacts. As Albany was a British colony, it experienced the attempts of French invasion. Nevertheless, it also experienced the pressure of the British troops who did not completely act like protectors. The War for Empire was a constant torment of territory between France And Britain.  Though at the end of the war when the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1763 both of the sides and Spain got certain territories this treaty had more meaning for the colonists.
The land of America was divided into borders in order to provide peace between these two powerful manipulators. The colonies’ dwellers understood that the pressure would be equal with any power and developed the knowledge to protest and the experience to use in order to achieve a better future.
